Regardless if you purchase the book or borrow it from the library, one of the best ways to support your favorite authors is to review their books on Amazon and/or Goodreads.
101 Ways to Go Zero Waste by Kathryn Kellogg
Found this book after listening to the Frugal Friends podcast Episode 103, How to live a zero waste lifestyle frugally, where they reviewed an article from this author. Then I read the article, then I subscribed to the author’s blog, and then I found out about this book.
I am giving this book 5 stars. While some of the ideas are pretty basic like using a reusable water bottle, I found this book to be insightful and really full of awesome ideas. If this is the first zero waste book that you pick up, you are going to love it. If you have already read some zero waste books, you might roll your eyes because some things might not be new to you. I have personally implemented a couple zero waste ideas into my life but I found myself writing down a list of about 10 more ideas that I could implement in the future.
This was the perfect book to check out from my local library during the week of Earth Day.
