Book Review: Living Simple, Free & Happy by Cristin Frank

Regardless if you purchase the book or borrow it from the library, one of the best ways to support your favorite authors is to review their books on Amazon and/or Goodreads.

Living Simple, Free & Happy: How to Simplify, Declutter Your Home, and Reduce Stress, Debt, and Waste by Cristin Frank

Living Simple, Free & Happy: How to Simplify, Declutter Your Home, and Reduce Stress, Debt, and Waste

Not your typical decluttering, simplifying, paying off debt, and reducing your waste book. The author calls herself a Reduction Rebel and she sure lived up to that name. She and her family live with 1 car and no cell phones (or maybe just one) in America and in modern times. Talk about a REBEL!

Enjoyed her thoughts and ideas on up-cycling worn-out items that just need a little bit of love and attention. Isn’t that why HGTV Flea Market Flip, Home Town, Good Bones, and many others are binge-worthy shows? They all up-cycle and reuse whenever possible. The results are fabulous.

There are some reviews that say the author did not come up with many new ideas. I mean let’s be honest the single idea of spending less money, reducing your consumption, and paying off debt in one author’s voice may not appeal to everyone so it needs to be repeated. If you are stuck in the hamster wheel of consuming, check out this book. If you need a swift kick in the ass about your consumption and debt, this might be your book. If you can’t figure out why your space feels cluttered, this is certainly your book to explore why this is happening.
