It is laundry day. Ugh. Collect the laundry. Take the laundry to the washer. Wash some. Switch to dryer and wash more. When it is all dried, fold and put away.
If you are like, I have a specified laundry day. AKA I only wash on Tuesdays, no mini loads mid week because you already wore your favorite t-shirt and now you want to wear it again.
I collect all of the laundry Monday night, put the first load into the washer, add the detergent, and then I delay the start. I delay the washer from starting until about an hour before I wake up. This way I can switch the laundry sooner. Finish the dreaded chore sooner.
Try it. See if it help. If you have other chore hacks, please share them!
I do sheets on Mondays and towels on Tuesdays but never actually set a day for clothes – I just do them as needed but now that you mention it, maybe it would be easier to pick a day and stick to it!

Once I got into the rhythm of Tuesday is laundry day and made sure we had enough stuff to last a week (I think we had to get more socks), it has been so much easier. We actually wear less clothes.

And I would imagine it also helps you realize which clothes you like the most and the least!
